The express purpose of Bethel Family Worship Center is to glorify God, who has given us the highest revelation of Himself in the Person of Jesus Christ. In glorifying God we enter into public worship services, seeking to give adequate expression to our profound and dedicated commitment to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Who loved us and gave Himself for our sins.
In our worship we find meaningful awareness of His presence with us, and we respond to this awareness with adoration, praise and thanksgiving. Our worship includes the preaching and teaching of the gospel as it relates to the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ, which is to enlighten our conscience to the holiness of God, to feed the soul with the truth of God, and open the heart to the matchless grace of God.
In our worship of Christ we are to call sinners to repentance, encourage the downtrodden, strengthen believers, visit the sick and those in prison, maintain and integrate the highest standards of moral living by teaching all believers to maintain and seek to live a Spirit-filled life. It is essential that we nourish and spiritually cultivate the lives of those in our church and strive to meet the spiritual, physical and emotional needs of those within our communities. The ministries of Bethel Family Worship Center are initiated for this purpose, which is to “REACH THE HEART … AND SAVE THE SOUL”.
The Vision
Bethel Family Worship Center is a multicultural, interdenominational church with many ministerial facets. Our multicultural complex is to include a day care center, after school child care center, Christian book store, Bible school, music studio, cafeteria and Bethel’s House With A Heart.
Among the ministry goals and projections are annual tent meetings, television and radio ministries, Sit & Share Bible Study, and door-to-door witnessing.
Ministry departments include Bethel House for Women and Coming Out of the Dark Substance Abuse Ministry; music studio and department will train the youth in the area of music, organ, drums, saxophone and other instruments; speech ministry to train persons to speak fluently; other languages including Spanish, Italian, and Japanese; evangelism and prison ministries presenting a clear message of Jesus to persons who have been poisoned by the message of erroneous doctrines; youth and children’s ministries including teen ministry, junior Church, step team ministry, dance ministry, Christian girls club (ages 7 to 18), Children’s Church: presenting Jesus at their level.
Other departments are intercessory prayer ministry, Steadfast & Immovable Men’s Ministry, W.O.V.E. (Women Of Vision and Excellence), Singles Ministry “Saved, Single & Satisfied
